Building Permit Handlers Wanted!

Our client is looking for several experienced building permit handlers who want to contribute to community development. The role offers great personal responsibility, meaningful cases, and flexibility. You will work on both small and large, developing projects. Apply today as the start is in February!

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking several building permit handlers on behalf of our client for a project scheduled to start in February and running until the end of October this year. Our client is Sweden's largest municipality and works daily to provide the city's residents with good service in accordance with decisions made by the municipal council, committees, and board of directors.

In the role of Building Permit Handler, you will be responsible for independently managing and reviewing building permit cases, which directly contributes to our client's community mission. You will work in an independent role with support from experienced colleagues and clear guidelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role of Building Permit Handler means that you independently investigate, review, and process building permit cases in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.

  • Independent work based on guidelines and practices
  • Plan and follow up on cases
  • Investigate, review, and process building permit cases

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Have good experience working independently as a building permit handler.
  • Have at least two years of experience in building permit handling.
  • Have documented knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act and the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
  • Have very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Have relevant education for the role.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working in municipal or public operations.
